Concrete Contractors in Southeast Olympia, WA
Southeast Olympia — around Indian Creek and out toward the Tumwater and Lacey lines — is mostly mid-century and newer neighborhoods with standard lots and a lot of everyday concrete: driveways, patios, sheds and RV pads, and sidewalks that have tipped over the years.

Why Southeast Olympia is different
Creek corridors
Near Indian Creek and its tributaries, groundwater runs high in winter. Slabs there need a good gravel base and drainage so they don’t heave or sink.
Everyday additions
Lots here have room for a shed pad, RV parking or a wider driveway. We size thickness and rebar to the load instead of pouring every slab the same.
Sidewalk upkeep
Tipped sidewalk panels are common. Many can be lifted with foam or slabjacking instead of replaced.

Can a tipped sidewalk panel be lifted instead of replaced?
If the panel is in one piece, usually yes. Foam leveling or slabjacking lifts it back to grade through small holes, often for a fraction of replacement cost.
How thick should an RV pad be?
We typically pour RV pads thicker than a patio and reinforce them with rebar, on a compacted gravel base. The exact spec depends on the RV’s weight and your soil; we set it at the estimate.
Does work near a creek need special permits?
Work within regulated buffers around streams and wetlands can require City of Olympia critical-areas review. Most backyard slabs aren’t affected, but we check before we pour.
