Concrete Contractors in Eastside Olympia, WA
The Eastside is classic Olympia housing — bungalows, cottages and mid-century homes on modest lots, many with their original driveways and walks. Most of what we do here is replacement: cracked single-car driveways, front walks that have dropped, back patios that hold water, and steps that no longer meet the door.

Why Eastside Olympia is different
Original flatwork
A lot of Eastside concrete is 50 to 100 years old and was poured thin, without rebar, straight on dirt. When it fails it fails everywhere at once. Replacement with a real gravel base and proper thickness usually outlasts the house’s next roof.
Narrow driveways and alleys
Many lots have narrow drives or alley access. We plan tear-out, haul-off and the pour around tight access instead of tearing up your yard.
Water against the house
Old patios and walks often slope toward the foundation. When we replace them we set the slope to carry rain away from the house — the cheapest moisture fix you’ll ever buy.

Should I repair or replace my old Eastside driveway?
If the slab is mostly intact and just sunken, leveling or a section replacement is cheaper. If it’s cracked into many pieces, thin, or heaving from roots, replacement with a proper base is the better value. We’ll show you which sections are which.
Do I need a permit for a new driveway in Olympia?
Work on your own property usually doesn’t need a building permit, but a new or widened driveway approach at the street does need a City of Olympia right-of-way permit. We handle that when it applies.
How long before I can drive on a new driveway?
Walk on it in a day or two; keep cars off for about a week, longer in cold weather. Full strength comes at about 28 days.
