Concrete Leveling & Slabjacking in Olympia

If a slab has sunk or tipped but is still in one piece, you probably don’t need to replace it. We lift it back to grade two ways: polyurethane foam leveling and traditional slabjacking (mudjacking). Both work through small drilled holes, both are usually done in a day, and both cost far less than tear-out and re-pour.

What’s different here

Foam (polyurethane) leveling

Lightweight foam injected through penny-sized holes. Adds almost no weight — a good choice on soft or wet soils — and cures in minutes.

Slabjacking / mudjacking

A cement-based slurry pumped under the slab through slightly larger holes. Cost-effective on larger areas with stable soil.

Why slabs sink here

Washout from winter rain, poorly compacted fill along foundations and utility trenches, and soft or filled ground. We fix the slab and point out the water problem behind it.

Common questions

Concrete Leveling questions

What’s the difference between foam leveling and slabjacking?

Both lift sunken slabs through drilled holes. Foam leveling uses lightweight polyurethane through smaller holes and cures fast; slabjacking (mudjacking) pumps a heavier cement slurry and is often cheaper on bigger areas. We recommend one based on your soil and slab.

How much does concrete leveling cost in Olympia?

Slabjacking commonly runs around $500–$1,700 per 100 square-foot section; foam leveling costs more per square foot but is still typically well below replacement. Exact pricing comes after we see the slab.

Can every sunken slab be leveled?

No. Slabs broken into many pieces, crumbling, or heaved upward by roots usually need replacement. We’ll tell you honestly.

Is house or floor leveling the same thing?

Interior floor and house leveling involve the foundation and framing. We handle slab-on-grade lifting and foundation concrete; for structural house leveling we’ll tell you when you need an engineer.
